Bank of America Merrill Lynch is one of the world’s leading financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small- and middle-market businesses, large corporations and governments with a full range of financial and risk management products and services. Our purpose is to make financial lives better.
We spoke to the Bank of America Merrill Lynch at our Graduate Job and Placement Fair to ask what skills and experience they look for in a graduate and what students can do now to prepare them for the graduate market. Here’s what they said:
“At the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, we accept students from any degree discipline who are highly driven. We look for candidates who can use their own initiative and have the confidence to communicate and seek out opportunities in the workplace. We also look for graduates who can demonstrate a passion for the company and the role.”
“Students can prepare for a graduate job whilst at university by volunteering in any industry to build up their skills and to engage with different projects and types of work. Student internships could potentially turn into a full time job once you have graduated so students should definitely make the most of these opportunities while they are at Manchester Met.”
