The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme, an official Japanese Government scheme, sends graduates to Japan in order to promote international understanding at grass-roots level and to improve foreign language teaching in schools.

Each participant in the JET Programme brings their culture to a local community in Japan, helping the country to gain personal contact with peoples of other countries. In addition, each JET participant will learn a great deal about Japan, its culture and its people.

Flights and visas covered a minimum of a year’s contract and can include extra qualifications and training!

There are two positions available for UK graduates on the JET Programme. The Assistant Language Teacher role is the most popular option as the Coordinator for International Relations role requires a high level of Japanese.

Now open for applicants and closing day for roles to start in July 2017 , closing date 25th November.
