Open to all Manchester Met students, the Futures Skills Award allows you to get recognition for the additional work and activity you undertake whilst at university. There are hundreds of ways to earn your award from attending workshops to learning a new language and studying abroad.

Watch our short film below to find out why you should take part in the Futures Skills Award from our Vice-Chancellor, an employer and current students.

The Futures Skills Award can be tailored to each student, making it a truly unique experience for all who embark on the award scheme. Discover new opportunities on and off campus by getting recognition for any part-time work, placements or extra-curricular activities you take part in. You will be able to identify three skills or attributes that you wish to develop to help further your career and then undertake any activity to help you to enhance these skills. Learn how to sell your skills to employers and stand out from the crowd!
