TEACH – Time to Empower Africa’s CHildren is a dynamic, frontline charity working to alleviate poverty through the power of education. They are currently recruiting for their University Student Ambassador Programme, which allows proactive students to really get ahead of the game!

This programme gives students an opportunity to gain internship experience in an international charity while studying. You will be working in a vibrant team and developing new skills along the way such as volunteer management and event management skills, which looks fantastic on your CV. You will also be assigned a personal mentor to assist you during the course of the programme.

Nowadays employers are looking for so much more than just a degree, they also expect you to have experience. This opportunity will give you an edge through the experience and skills acquired. Furthermore, as there is a large element of leadership in this role it provides those that are aiming for management positions an insight into the qualities needed. And don’t worry; this programme has been designed to fit in around your studies, lasting for 1 academic year, roughly 5 hours per week. That’s not even the best part, as a Student Ambassador you can take part in a charity challenge such as Kilimanjaro or a Volunteer trip to Ghana for a hugely discounted rate.
