Project title: Action Code Red

Aim of Project: Your mission is to organise a fundraising event of your choice to help raise money for the largest humanitarian organisation in the world!

Duties: A team of four or five students is needed to research, plan and organise a fundraising event of your choice to raise money in aid of the British Red Cross.

The Red Cross are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and organised people looking for a challenge. Groups taking part in this project will gain valuable event management and project management skills including other skills such as working with the media, advertising and marketing, and promotion and sales experience.

Your team will decide what event you would like to organise, how much you would like to raise, market the event, and make the event as much of a success as you can!

You will meet with the Red Cross fundraising team to discuss your ideas and will be given help and advice along the way. To be successful fundraisers you will be a good team player, be creative, and most of all be keen to succeed!

Initial meetings: will be attended by the Red Cross fundraising team to advise and offer support to the team where required. Students can then liaise with the team via email/phone throughout the project.

Location: The location of the event will depend on the type of fundraising event chosen, the plans and where the venue of the event.
